POSITION: Aesthetic Injector


REPORTS TO: Nurse Manager & Owner

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing elective care for cosmetic complaints that can be reasonably treated with injection procedures.  Duties include taking medical histories, performing examinations, and developing a treatment plan within their scope of practice for cosmetic patients and treatment administration as directed by their supervising physician.


  1. Five years of experience in a medical office working as an R.N, NP, OR PA. 
  2. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current state license.

  1. Primary Duties
    • Provides direct patient care as a representative of the physician, treating the patient in a style and manner developed and directed by the supervising physician and consistent with authorized practice as defined by state law.This includes practicing at the same level as other providers, which may require studying or training on his/her own time to learn skill set that is in accordance with the rest of the office and can act as a contributory team member. 
    • Delivers care in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines that are developed by the physician. Performs GS treatments as outlined in protocol manual. 
  • Learns and agrees to perform all GS lasers and other medical grade treatments with the same protocol listed in the GS protocol handbook.
    • Maintains the patient’s medical records detailing all treatment procedures, medication history, and educational materials distributed. Provider is responsible if consent isn’t signed and or photos not uploaded. It is their responsibility to double check before procedures are performed. 
    • Aids and assists PC’S or other nurses in completing a HIPPA compliant good faith exam before treatment. 
    • Completes GS skin care boot came and accompanying quizzes within first 3 months. 
    • Completes a GS before and after project by 1st year. 
    • Tracks EIP clients and ensures they have proper sticky notes. Facilitates EIP’s in having easier scheduling times and available concierge services.
    • Responsible for the coordination between patient and PC of retention correspondence to patients regarding their followup treatment plan. 
    • If moving clients due to personal/emergency situations you are responsible for accommodating patients (coming early or staying late) to get those clients back in. 
    • Responsible for delegation of duties to applicable PC/MA to ensure clients needs are met before leaving the room and ensuring and facilitating proper communication between patient and PC/MA.
    • Responsible for personal phone calls to FU any clients that have had medical adverse events, and for any clients who traveled in, and or someone who had a large treatment and or many treatments. Even if you are not in the office next day you are responsible for calling patient. 
  • Responsible for concierge and timely care for any client with any adverse events. House calls and personal phone calls as well. Anyone with necrosis, blindness or nerve damage are to be escalated. All other possible reactions are to be handled in an exceptionally timely manner.
    • Responsible for attending monthly team meetings and monthly provider meetings. 
    • Responsible for attending check ups weekly with nurse manager. 
    • Responsible for ensuring Red Alerts are being updated in the google drive and is being spoken about during Provider Meetings. 
    • Immediately notifies NM, Owner of any necrosis, blindness and nerve damages. Bruising and swelling is normal and doesn’t need to be escalated. Nurse Manager should be notified in a timely manner (even when not in town) of any red alerts added to the list. 
    • Any patient related experiences that also involve a medical component are not only to be reported to Nurse Manager but Practice Manager too. 
    • Any patient related appointments that are after hours, training, or comped are to be relayed to Nurse Manager/Owner and PM.
  • As a full time resident in NYC, you will take on responsibility to be available on call in instances of patient emergencies when head nurse/physician are unavailable. 
  1. Secondary Duties
  • Confirms with patients their clear understanding that we share clients and how the office runs/works. (PC’S/MA/MEDICAL DIRECTOR).
  • Facilitates patient relationship with a more experienced provider or medical director if needed (Due to bad injectable experience and or adverse event). 
  • Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned or requested in an effort to facilitate the growth of the practice which may involve social media. 
  • Participate in optional but recommended media photo shoots which are designed as an opportunity to grow clientele. These will be hourly wage. 
  • Follows GS dress code and behaves and acts in a way that reflects the GS brand. Holds themself to a higher standard as seen in appearance, attitude, voice, mood and demeanor. As a medical provider for GoodSkin this demonstrates maturity in a medical health setting.
  • Any scenario not relating to medical components or being a provider for patients is to be directed to Bo and Elle the Practice Managers. 
  • Time off are to be taken when other providers are also not currently out of the office and the time off must be approved by nurse manager and practice manager.
