Title: Cosmetic Injector

Basic Summary: Works with a multidisciplinary team administering cosmetic injections. Responsibilities include direct care of patients including the following: Cosmetic neurotoxin and dermal filler injections, aesthetic patient consultations touching on nonsurgical options.

Duties and Responsibilities:  The following duties are the primary duties of this position, but do not compose an exclusive or all-encompassing list of duties. Other duties may be assigned or required to accomplish the main goals of this position.

  1. Provides a personalized approach to patients’ needs for each treatment of neurotoxin and/or filler.
  2. Evaluates patients prior to procedures.
  3. Configures and administers applicable amount of Bont-A toxin and/or filler per patient request and professional recommendation.
  4. Determines where patient is disproportionate and may benefit from injectables procedure.
  5. Accomplishes desired results from cosmetic injections.
  6. Shows integrity, good judgment, eyes, hands, skills, and artistry.
  7. Performs in a fully accredited state licensed facility and abide by medical board rules and regulations.
  8. Monitor sterile settings and ensures every patient receives proper patient care before and after injection lipolysis.
  9. Establishes patient trust and confidence in order to secure respect, well-being, and happiness or each individual outcome.
  10. Conducts patient follow-ups when necessary.
  11. Maintains patient flow.
  12. Performs other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret patient charts and medical reports. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints. Ability to effectively communicate with patients.

Math Ability: Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory. Ability to work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations, and proofs of theorems.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of internet software, order processing systems, and scheduling software.

Education/Experience: Naturopathic Physician and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Training: Cosmetic fillers and Bont-A toxin injections
