Senior Aesthetic Laser Nurse

We are a Plastic Surgery led luxury Medical Spa looking for a Senior Aesthetic Laser Nurse to provide elective care for cosmetic patients that can be reasonably treated with laser procedures. Our Laser Nurse must use sound clinical judgment, impeccable customer service skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and listening skills to succeed in this role.

Patient Interaction  

  • Confirms with patients their clear understanding that a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner is treating them.
  • Informs patient of all current promotions.
  • Responsible for coordinating correspondence with patients regarding, but not limited to, laser follow-up and/or treatment plans.
  • Encourages patient to return in an appropriate amount of time for additional treatments to maintain agreed-upon treatment plan.
  • Enhance the patient experience by utilizing TouchMD to send patients their before and after photos, treatment information, aftercare instructions, and product suggestions.
  • Tracks referral sources and sends thank you letters to the source.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Possesses wide-ranging knowledge of skin care treatment and pathology.
  • Excellent understanding of dermatology and skin care treatment.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to improve skill levels, such as seminars and classes.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with both patients and staff.
  • Understanding the importance of and actively achieving and maintaining a VPA per your provider agreement.
  • Uphold and teach impeccable patient care standards that support both safety and skill.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain strong sales-to-service.
  • Empathetic with patient’s needs and concerns.
  • Treats patients and co-workers with respect.
  • Ability to work as a team member.

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current CA state license.
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical office working as an RN or NP.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay + commission
