Our Spa Director is responsible for all aspects of the daily operations within the spa,  including but not limited to front desk operations, customer service, patient care, maintaining a tidy workspace, inventory/ordering, administration, team leadership, and human resource support.

The perfect person for this position MUST HAVE experience in running and operating a medical spa.  Must be humble, hungry and people smart.  Must also love sharing marketing ideas, enhancing the patient experience, and allow feedback for team growth.

We are an up-and-coming Medical Spa with 15 years of experience before starting this new venture.  We provide laser treatments, advanced skincare, and injectables.   Our team of skilled aestheticians and injectors provide effective and efficient treatment using the most advanced technology available.

Reports To: Ownership

Essential Functions:

  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Ensure that all clients receive exceptional service. Resolve any client complaints in an expeditious and professional manner.
  • Establish sales and quality goals for all team members.
  • Ensure the practice hits its service and retail revenue goals by effectively managing staffing levels, utilization, and productivity.
  • Manage all business software platforms
  • Daily operation management
  • Hiring, training and coaching new staff.  Implementing procedures and protocols
  • Supervise and provide disciplinary measure for staff.   Quarterly/Yearly reviews.   Manage employee folders
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of all standard operating procedures, policies, and protocols that pertain to the operation of the practice.
  • Have thorough knowledge of all retail, professional, and clinical products. Maintain complete knowledge of technician techniques, services, and packages.
  • Manage the sales pipeline to ensure conversion of inquiries to consultation, and consultation to sale. Track and follow up with leads. Participate in consultations to ensure clients’ needs are met in accordance with service offerings and in line with clinical providers’ recommendations. Act as a concierge to new and existing clients alike.
  • Track leads, conversion rates, and revenue; report to ownership on a consistent basis.
  • Ensure that all clerical and administrative duties, including data entry, payroll submissions, filing, and order processing, are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct monthly and/or weekly staff meetings.
  • Interview and hire all technical and desk staff in accordance with staffing needs and hiring policies.
  • Collaborate with ownership to hire and train all staff based on the needs of the practice.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with ownership to achieve the goals of the practice.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement staff training. Conduct reviews and or termination of personnel as applicable.
  • Track inventory and order products/supplies as needed.
  • Provide support and tools to the front desk and other staff in daily functions, as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as identified by ownership.
Applicant qualifications:
  • Education:  Bachelors Degree preferred or business experience
  • Experience managing 3 years at a spa
  • Must be confident with making face to face pitches in a convincing and conversational manner
  • Strong organizational skill
