Downtown Chicago facial plastic surgery practice is seeking a Medical Aesthetician with a strong background in skin care and sales, to join an established but growing medical practice. This practice is owned by a board-certified, well-respected, facial plastic surgeon and specializes in facial procedures, skin resurfacing, fillers and injectable treatments, medical esthetics services, and more.
The winning candidate must be willing to work in a hands-on fashion, doing “whatever it takes” to help the team grow. There must be a focus on patient care coupled with a strong desire to assist in the growth of the practice via sales of treatments and retail skin care. The winning candidate should be comfortable and capable working with a team as well as independently. Relationship-building ability as well as a positive attitude and friendly demeanor is necessary.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities are performing clinical skin treatments (such as Clinical Facials, Laser Resurfacing, Peels, Facials, Hydrafacials and much more), inventory management, product/treatment and service sales.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Medical charting on procedures performed
• Adhering to strict state procedural regulations
• Following up with patients through email and phone
• Assisting with inventory/ordering of retail skin care products
• Equipment Maintenance
• Creating social media content
• Learning about and selling retail skin care offerings
Skills and Requirements:
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a plastic surgery, salon/spa, or dermatology practice. Current esthetics licensure required.
