The Nurse will report to The Director of Operations.

Job Overview

Performing the professional duties and functions of a nurse/nurse injector in conformity with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies including those relating to licensure and certification.


  • Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills
  • Possess ability to work without direct supervision
  • Must be comfortable with Sales
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, possess a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Computer knowledge and extensive experience with EMR
  • Must be a team player and support peers and physician as well as business goals
  • Must hold an active RN license
  • A minimum of 2 years of performing injectables

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Nurse Injector
    • Injectables- Toxins and dermal fillers
    • Laser and Microneedling Treatments – IPL, CO2, Genius and other treatment modalities added to the practice
  • Clinical
    • Responsible for answering clinical questions via phone and email
    • Generate paperwork for surgical procedure in office
    • Assembles and reviews surgical consents, both pre op and post op
    • Picks the appropriate trays for in office OR schedule
    • Test all Bio medical equipment
    • Sterilization of all instruments
    • Draws up neurotoxin for patient visits
  • Cosmetic Surgical Patients
    • Calls and establishes nursing relationship with new Cosmetic surgical patients
    • Acts as a resource, answers questions and manages expectations for cosmetic patients
    • Faxing necessary paperwork to Surgery center for booked cosmetic surgeries
    • Responsible for collecting and collating paperwork from patients for surgical procedures
    • Send prep creams to cosmetic patients
    • Send in scripts for cosmetic surgeries and notifies doctor of any narcotic scripts that need to be signed
    • Prepares for in office Surgery days
    • Prepare Surgical area in accordance with recognized standards
    • Performs post op nursing care for Surgical patients
    • Cleans and sterilizes instruments
    • Calls all Cosmetic patients post op day 1
    • Responsible for dressing and suture removal
    • Prepares laser for transport when needed for surgery or other office location
  • Cosmetic Patient Days
    • Responsible for overseeing and running cosmetic schedule with front desk to insure proper scheduling
    • Responsible for Flow of Cosmetic patients
    • Charts notes on all patients as needed
    • Generate paperwork for surgical cosmetic surgeries
    • Assist Doctor in office for neurotoxin, filler, Cosmetic procedures, surgeries and consults
  • Housekeeping
  • Maintains sharp containers and Hazardous waste Inventory
  • Maintain Par levels for Medical Supply Inventory
  • Other
    • Participates in Marketing cosmetic surgeries
    • Presents a positive public image of Morgenstern Center
    • Must maintain excellent working relationship with physician
    • May be responsible to travel to Satellite locations for injectable services or to assist physician
  • These duties are typically performed for 8 to 10 hours per day and require a person to stand for extensive periods of time and to possibly climb stairs, use a computer and move light to medium weight objects.
