We are seeking an experienced and polished Operations Manager to oversee the operations of our Los Angeles locations.  We are a busy medical spa with multiple locations within the territory offering the latest advancements in non surgical treatments. This is a full-time position and requires a well-organized individual possessing excellent management, organizational, personnel and communication skills. This person must have experience managing a medical spa or is working in a related field like Plastic Surgery/Cosmetic Dermatology. This is a high-energy position that requires you to make decisions and multitask in a fast-paced environment. This candidate must also possess the knowledge and ability to develop relationships with patients, and manage multiple profit centers and staff.

Job Description

  • Functions in goal-oriented team – respects monthly goals and ultimately accountable for monthly and annual budgets.
  • Manages operations including payment transactions, personnel scheduling, real-time personnel HR issues, practice resource planning, and customer experience.
  • Orders, manages and tracks all medical, office and product inventories. Generates inventory records and tracks invoices.
  • Manages and promotes exceptional client experiences and focuses on customer satisfaction and service.
  • Implements daily, weekly and monthly goals and assess employee performance.
  • Maintains a happy, healthy work environment that promotes a great office culture.
  • Creates ongoing staff coaching and education training plans.

Skill Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of medical practice operations, medical spa or Plastic and/or Cosmetic Surgery) in an electronic medical records (EMR) environment
  • Proven track record of managing a medical spa (preferably Plastic and/or Cosmetic Surgery)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word and Excel)
  • Proficient in use of Patient Mngt Software
  • Efficient, organized, and resourceful
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to articulate vision and objectives
  • Motivated, energetic, and – Strong leadership skills

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in either business administration or related degree preferred
  • 2+ years management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of discretionary income medical/cosmetic marketplace
