We are seeking a Part Time Certified Medical Assistant to help us elevate our level of customer service and enhance the patient experience.

What we are looking for:

The Medical Assistant is a utility player, they provide outstanding customer service and oversee the completion of the patient experience.

Medical Assistants must be able to communicate effectively and maintain cooperative relationships with providers, staff members, patients, and the medical community. Compassion is important in this position, as we pride ourselves on patient care. Candidate must be able to remain calm under pressure and always be solution oriented. This role is a pillar to the practice, and we are looking for someone who can truly embrace that concept.

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting all medical professionals with procedures according to established standard operating procedures and medical protocol. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills and must hold and maintain a current state license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to patients.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of all medical protocols, standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Ensure that all patients receive exceptional service and have a comfortable and pleasant experience.
  • Create a professional relationship with the patients using good verbal and non-verbal communication.
  • Review all new patient intake forms, document patient treatments and plans of care, file in the appropriate records.
  • Support in pre and post care, assist with patient intake and treatment prep.
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training patients in these areas so they are aware of all of our services offered.
  • Handle patients’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by patients, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
  • Assist in all areas of business operation as requested by management.

Position Requirements:

  • Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Extremely strong time management skills.
  • Ability to abide by HIPAA and respect client confidentiality
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Communicate effectively and transparently.
  • Be courteous and respectful.
  • Solutions oriented and innovative.
  • World class professionalism with both patients and co-workers.
  • Absolute confidentiality, as outlined in our confidentiality policy, in all matters pertaining to both clients and the business.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Must hold and maintain a current State license
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in an aesthetic, dermatology, or plastic surgery practice experience
