Our upscale Plastic Surgery practice is looking for a dynamic, energetic, outgoing, and organized Patient Care Coordinator for a fast-paced, prominent Plastic Surgery practice to assist in the patient acquisition process and strengthen the patient experience. Must be a good fit among our cohesive team. The focus of this position is cosmetic surgery sales, offering superior patient care and coordination, contact management, and scheduling. Our ideal candidate must possess exceptional people skills, be technologically savvy, and a self-starter with a passion to excel.

Will be responsible for:

  • Speaking with all new patients on the phone or via email/text
  • Explaining procedures, answering questions, providing guidance
  • Acting as liaison between surgeon and patient
  • Scheduling surgery
  • Promoting surgeon and surgical results
  • Reviewing pre- and post-operative instructions
  • Interfacing with patients and their families from the initial phone call through to the surgery
  • Customizing the care plan for each patient
  • Managing the consultation process
  • Paying close attention to the details of the entire patient experience
  • Participating in practice marketing, bonding and “hand holding” of patients through their surgical decision process

This position is a customer service role, as well as a patient support role for all new and existing patients in the practice and the ideal candidate must thrive in a service environment. Must have a professional presentation that is representative of our upscale practice, be highly motivated and work well individually as well as in a team environment.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Sales or Customer Service: 2 years (preferred but not required)
  • Proven record of excellence in customer service and sales.
  • Medical office sales experience in the areas of Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery would be beneficial.
  • Will consider experience in customer service, hospitality, and retail sales industry.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills over the telephone, in written communication and in-person.
  • Able to effectively sustain multiple simultaneous tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service.
