A gorgeous and large facility in Beverly Hills is seeking a self-confident and self-motivated RN who is credible and can establish a winning rapport with peers and leadership. The current operations are 1 OR with adjoining room(s) for PreOp and PACU. However, will grow into more ORs and specialties. Willing to teach candidate Plastics, but must know how to Circulate in an OR. Currently, there are 2 RNs and 2 techs staffing the Surgery Center.

Join our dedicated team for staff beauty days and a yearly stipend for beauty services and/or products. Learn from an existing Surgery Center and grow with a new Surgery Center from the ground up! It’ll be a FUN, fast-paced environment with friendly surgeons and a committed staff!

Preferred candidates should be able to work independently in PACU and OR namely. Experience in PreOp, particularly with IV starts and typical assessment is preferred. Candidate must be very proficient and become independent within a safe and reasonable time in PACU and in the OR (ok if not as familiar with Plastics). Willing to teach candidate PreOp.

Ideal candidate is proficient in all 3 areas. A minimum of 1-2 years experience is needed in PACU and in Circulating OR. Must be familiar with OR language of supplies and how to operate or troubleshoot basic OR equipment. Should be knowleadgable, but not limited to: OR charting, logs, and basic infection control protocols and sterility practices.

Job Qualifications:

License: Current California RN License, BLS, ACLS

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in PACU and OR. Knowledge of Preop assessment and paperwork is necessary. IV starts is a plus!

Essential Job Duties and Characteristics:

  • Verifies that OR/Perioperative personnel provide safe patient care.
  • Coordinates, facilitates, and manages change within the OR/Perioperative services.
  • Assists leadership in collecting data for performance improvement projects.
  • Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills with members of the OR/Perioperative team and other stakeholders.
  • Provides guidance, support, and constructive feedback to OR/Perioperative personnel.
  • Helps OR/Perioperative personnel in evaluating practice and offers suggestions for further improvement.
  • Evaluates current practice and offers quality and process improvement suggestions.
  • Acts as clinical resource for OR/Perioperative personnel using evidence-based standards and prevailing guidelines.
  • Maintains OR/Perioperative documentation, records and logs as required

Pay: $51.00 – $55.00 per hour
