A leading medical aesthetic practice with locations in California, New York, and Connecticut is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to oversee its sales, marketing, business development, and operations. The position will be highly involved with the executive team with three Director-level reports. 

This position is ideal for a highly motivated, efficient leader with a proven track record of assessing and growing aesthetic companies by leading strong internal teams. The individual will demonstrate a strong understanding of operations, sales, and marketing (including digital marketing, social media, and overall strategy). Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and communication are key. Direct reports include the Director of Marketing, Director of Operations, and Director of Sales.


  • Oversees all operational, sales, expansions, and creative strategies of the business.
  • Works closely with executive team to make informed and strategic decisions pertaining to expenditures, budgetary planning, forecasting, marketing, and business development strategies across the business.
  • Oversees all top line reporting and ensures proper KPIs are being utilized.
  • Consistently analyzes and capitalizes on opportunities for growth and expansion, creates and implements business plans to accomplish short and long-term company goals.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must possess an organized and thoughtful mindset and be able to maximize resources and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, growing environment with the ability to set realistic goals and timelines.
  • Experience with expansion through practice acquisition as well as organic growth.
  • Ability to engage with employees at all levels of the company. 
  • Ability to clearly communicate expectations, goals, and discuss contrary opinions in an open manner.
  • Prior experience in consulting, corporate strategy, regional management, or like roles a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a multi-facility organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and maximize multimillion dollar budget. 
  • Experience in Medical Aesthetic industry (Plastic, Derm, Medical Spa) preferred.
