Located in the heart of Newport Beach, CA our boutique medical practice is known for its cutting-edge treatments in aesthetics, regenerative medicine, hormone optimization, and sexual wellness for both men and women. We’re looking for a skilled and professional Medical Assistant to join our growing team and provide dedicated support to our lead physician. Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Greet and escort patients to treatment rooms, prepare patients for procedures, obtain medical histories, document vital signs, and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
  • Assisting with Procedures: Assist physicians with a variety of aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to injectables (Botox, fillers), laser treatments, and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures. This may include preparing treatment rooms, setting up equipment, and providing support during procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Order supplies as needed and ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Sterilization and Infection Control: Adhere to strict sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing patient charts, and processing payments.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, as well as information on skincare products and other related topics.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient practice operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of present experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting, preferably in a dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetic practice.
  • Experience assisting with aesthetic procedures, including injectables and laser treatments preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Strong clinical skills, including taking vital signs, administering injections, and performing other routine medical tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for aesthetics.
