Job Description

We are a prestigious and well-known Plastic Surgery practice in Beverly Hills looking for a high-level Practice Director to join our team. Our Practice Director will motivate and lead our highly skilled team. This position is the foundation of the practice. We offer a generous industry-leading compensation package and benefits package.

You should demonstrate a strong knowledge of office management and operations, and the ability to assist in the development and execution of the office business plan and growth strategy. A team-oriented leader who can partner with our MDs in focusing the energy of the practice toward success. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, energetic, and team-focused. This role is an executive-level business position responsible for all aspects of the practice and day-to-day operations.

Patient Service:Manage the patient experience ensuring it is perfected (company culture as it applies to phones, greeting, wait times, consultation, educational material, loyalty, and promotional programs, not limited to.)Maintain a knowledge of all products and serviceEnsure the staff is educated and communicating accurate information to patients

Operations: Design and implement policies and proceduresPrepare Annual Budget, liaise with accountant/business managerPrepare a review and analysis of monthly financial statements against the Business & Sales Plan

Cost Reduction:Identify payment trends and identify opportunities for improvementReview bills for accuracyEnsure staff is scheduled to balance between patient care and personnel costsEnsure patients are scheduled to provide high-level care, minimal wait times, and high profitability

Personnel Management/HR:Manage all staff and work with multiple physiciansEnsure staff has tools and training needed to be successfulEnsure new hires on properly trained and onboardedCoordinate monthly staff meetings Recruiting, motivate, inspire, and hold staff accountableSupervision including salary review and performance appraisals

Ideal Candidate:College degree required5 years’ experience in healthcare management, preferably running a plastic surgery, dermatology cosmetic practice, or medical spaMust have the ability to understand the goals of the practice and work to create the plan of action to obtain the goals independently and with the physiciansMust stay current with market trends that may impact the businessProfessional attitudeAbility to relate well with patients, physicians, employees, and other professionalsStrong Business AcumenAbility to adapt and work in a fast-paced environmentVersatility and strong communication skillsDedicated to the vision and practice goalsMust have the ability to remain calm and exhibit tact in stressful and or delicate situationsMust have the ability to handle confidential issues

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain core relationships with external consultants and sales reps
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and make sure changes are implemented
  • Create, adjust, and implement policies and procedures
  • Oversee day-to-day operational, marketing, and financial functions

Qualifications

  • College degree
  • 3+ years leading a team in a Medical Practice environment
  • High level of business and financial acumen
  • Medical Aesthetic industry experience preferred
  • Experience developing and implementing processes and procedures
